On Saturday, April 27th Notre Dame’s Office of Military & Veterans Affairs (OMVA) will host a family fun event in Notre Dame Stadium.
Whether you’re looking to embark on the ultimate stair-climbing challenge—from the tunnel to the top and every aisle in between—or enjoy a walk around the house that Rockne built, Storm the Stadium is for you.
And no matter which of the three courses you choose, the proceeds from your participation will benefit Notre Dame-enrolled veterans and their families, active-duty and ROTC students, and those who are dependents of service members.
So join Notre Dame’s Office of Military & Veterans Affairs April 27th, 2019 to Storm the Stadium on behalf of our military men and women!
And to truly maximize your impact on our military-connected students, we have set up an easy way for you to fundraise by seeking pledges in support of your participation.
*This is a family-friendly event; with inflatables on the football field for the kids!
**If you register after April 1, 2019, a limited number of shirts are available on a first come first serve basis.

“Touch ’em all” is a phrase usually reserved for baseball home runs.
But with the Storm the Stadium long course, you’ll have the chance to put a new spin on that old idea as you climb up and down the stairs in each and every one of Notre Dame Stadium’s 72 sections—36 in the lower bowl, and 36 in the upper.
The short course option follows a similar path but stays in the upper part of the stadium; the stadium walk, which is ADA accessible, is a flat course that will let you walk a third-of-a-mile loop between the lower and upper bowls.
The interactive graphic to the right illustrates the long course, short course, and stadium walk routes. In addition, a virtual climb and a family fun zone are available.
The event kicks-off with an opening ceremony at 9:15 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. Climbers can choose one of eight starting waves, including two timed competitive waves, beginning at 9:30 a.m. (timed long and short courses), 9:45 (timed long and short courses), 10 (long and short courses), 10:15 (long and short courses), 10:30 (long and short courses), 10:45 (long and short courses), 11 (short course only) or 11:15 (short course only). The course time limit is 90 minutes.
